WILL THERE BE ANY REVOLUTION IN ARMENIA?
Support A1+!The most revolutionary party of Armenia – Armenian Revolutionary Foundation has today refused participating in the discussion on “Revolutions in the 21st Century” held in National Press Club.
”Republic” Party Chair Albert Bazeyan, “People’s Party of Armenia” political board member Ruzan Khachatryan, “Democratic Homeland” Party Chair Petros Maqeyan and “People’s Party” p/b member Karapet Hakobyan were present only.
Those present discussed whether the Armenian people are revolutionary in their kind or not.
The prevailing viewpoint was that the Armenian people aren’t of revolutionary nature. “It proceeds from our folk proverb – “God forbid the worse!”. Just this apprehension keeps people away from abrupt changes”, NPC member Narine Dilbaryan commented.
According to Petros Maqeyan, there is a revolutionary situation in the state now and it has been since 2003. “Justice” Bloc representatives don’t share the opinion. They say though people haven’t submitted the illegalities and will never know rest until reach the goals, there is no climate now necessary for a revolution.
April 12 was mentioned as the best example of a revolutionary display. Albert Bazeyan announced they had possessed the information that Authorities would resort to force methods if people passed the barbed-wires.
Ruzan Khachatryan said there will be no bloody revolution or a civil war in Armenia since a brother won’t shoot a brother.
