Parliament Speaker and Land of Law Party Chair Arthur Baghdasaryan has today congratulated Artak Sargssyan, the newly-elected MP of N 44 election district. MPS joined with applause. After being registered MPs stood in memory of their colleague, Mushegh Movsesyan.

Parliament has today passed 5 bills regarding granting privileges to the residents of the calamity zone, land tax, stock market etc.

MPs also approved an international treaty, which regulates the credit activity between the Central Banks of Armenia and Russia.

Gurgen Arsenyan, Chairman of United Labor Party, said his party members hadn’t partaken in the voting and didn’t dwell why.

Central Bank Chair Tigran Sargssyan made a speech for 1,5 hours in Parliament commenting upon the issues on the bills concerning the bank and economic sphere.

The bill on making changes and amendments to the Armenian Electoral Code will be discussed this week.

Free and Opposition MPs didn’t partake in today’s sitting.
