OPPOSITION PARLIAMENTARIANS LIKELY TO BE STRIPPED OF THEIR MANDATES
Support A1+!On Friday, Armenian National Assembly’s proper commission decided to consider Ardarutyun and National Unity opposition fractions MPs’ abstentions unacceptable.
At the same time, constant absence of Levon Sargssyan, a well-known tycoon, from parliamentary sessions was taken with clemency. It is remarkable that he has appeared in National Assembly’s building only two or three times since was elected as MP.
Another pro-governmental MP businessman Azat Petrossyan was also survived the commission reprimand.
The issue of stripping opposition lawmakers of their MP mandates will be considered at the next session.
