PARUYR HAYRIKYAN MEETING JOURNALISTS
Support A1+!Paruyr Hayrikyan, Chair of National Self-Determination Union, has today met journalists. September 21 – Day of Independence was the topic of the discussion.
Mr. Hayrikyan calls upon celebrating September 21 in due course. He thinks that day has never been treated properly.
Hayrikyan doesn’t direct his challenge to the present Government alone, which according to him, mainly consists of low-key figures of Communistic-oriented parties or Armenian Nationwide Movement. He urges the society as well to realize the essence of that day.
September 21 is the Independence Day whereas Hayrikyan thinks it must be the day we are to achieve self-determination.
NSDU Chair is going to demand Armenian Parliament to renounce September 21 as the Day of Independence and to celebrate it as the Day of Self-Determination.
