On Wednesday, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan met with his Turkish counterpart in Strasbourg. The meeting lasted two hours. Karabakh conflict was discussed by the sides.

Baghdasaryan said Armenian leadership expected unbiased attitude toward the issue from Turkish side.

Turkish Parliament Speaker, for his part, said Turkey was ready to display objectiveness in this issue.

The 1915 Genocide recognition was discussed as well. The Turk official said Turkey’s leadership was ready to enter negotiations over this issue, but without accepting genocide term.

Arthur Baghdasaryan assured his counterpart that there are not territorial claims in Armenian foreign policy agenda.
