PARLIAMENT SPEAKER ACCEPTS THAT THERE ARE POLITICAL PRISONERS IN ARMENIA
Support A1+!”Is it possible that a political decision is made and the political prisoners are released?”, we asked Parliament Speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan.
”If the political dialogue takes place, as a Parliament Speaker I am ready to appeal to the proper law machinery and the President with the suggestion to stop the arrests during an emerging political situation in Armenia”, he said.
Arthur Baghdasaryan announced that “Land of Law” Party had already discussed the suggestions by Opposition: “We find that there are planks in those suggestions which must be taken into account and to continue the dialogues”.
What are those planks? “The constitutional norm is beyond discussion. Citizens of Armenia have the right to move freely”, Baghdasaryan says.
He once more condemned the political pursuits and announced he adhered to the solution to the problems in a political field.
