ARMENIAN-AZERI FRONTIER IS QUIET
Support A1+!Armenian Defense Minister Serj Sargssyan refuted the rumors that there is tension at Armenian-Azeri boundary. ”The situation there is normal”.
As to registration in the military units, he said it is the ordinary procedure. ”Every spring trenches are renewed and posts are fortified”.
He also answered the question why males up to 45 are forbidden in airports to leave. ”There is nothing like that. If it were, we wouldn’t keep it secret. Why should we?”, he said.
Serj Sargssyan informed that the Armenian Commune in Budapest has engaged an advocate who is already occupied with the case over murder of the Armenian officer. Minister added that an attorney will depart for Budapest from Armenia if necessary.
Serj Sargssyan didn’t evade the question by ”Radio Liberty” correspondent over the Law on “Military Service”. He said after being amended and discussed the bill will be sent to Parliament. PM Andranik Margaryan said that the issue won’t be settled soon.
