“REPUBLIC” PARTY MEMBERS ARRESTED

At 5:30 AM the policemen of the 6th Department and Shengavit Police Department blocked the house of Romik Mkhitaryan, Chair of Shengavit branch of “Republic” Party in Opposition.

The policemen have tried to invade the apartment for 4 hours. Police has managed to arrest 3 party members, who visited the scene.

After taking them ”as prey” the policemen refused to arrest Mkhitaryan. It is to state that presence of “Justice” Bloc Secretary Viktor Dallakyan and MP Smbat Ayvazyan who arrived there had great influence on that decision.

MPs are now trying to find the bases for taking them into custody.

Let’s remind that a few days ago Romik Mkhitaryan announced the following on ALM TV Company: ”Cause of Sparapet will win. Sparapet’s flag is in strong hands”.

A year ago when voters held mass protest actions, Mkhitaryan was again arrested for 10 days ”as a participant of disorder”.
