The sitting of Social and Democratic Hnchak Party has taken place today. One of the issues on the sitting agenda was amalgamation of Communists’ Party of Armenia with Social and Democratic Hnchak Party.

At the meeting SDHP Chair George Hakobyan welcomed that step by the Communists. ”Authorities hamper us in focusing on our affairs. They try to cause split into our party”, he said.

Ishkhan Tovmasyan, the first secretary of Communists’ Party of Armenia, said that they would be in a radical opposition as before, trying to set up a democratic regime.
