ALBERT BAZEYAN IS NATIONAL PRESS CLUB’S GUEST
Support A1+!MP Albert Bazeyan, who is one of “Republic” party’s leaders and “Justice” parliamentary fraction member, spoke in National Press Club. The fraction is going to come up with a formal proposal of amendments to the Referendum Law to be discussed and voted on in parliament. Then confidence referendum will be held, Bazeyan said.
Our correspondent asked Bazeyan to comment on the statement of Constitutional Court’s head that referendum demand came too late. Bazeyan corrected the journalist’s word saying one should differ amendments to the Referendum Law from referendum itself and condemned the Constitutional Court Chair’s attitude.
“If, as he says, there is no sufficient confrontation in society to conduct referendum, it doesn’t mean that Robert Kocharyan – legitimate president. It doesn’t mean the community have come to terms with the fact that false president rules the country”, he said.
