DEMOCRATIC LIBERAL UNION EXPLAINS DEFEAT
Support A1+!In 10 days after parliamentary elections Armenian Democratic-Liberal Union eventually make attempt to explain in statement why it didn’t manage to win even dismal 5% of vote.
”The DLU is convinced votes cast for the party exceeded the number announced by Central Election Commission. So far, the union refrains from premature judgement of election process and intends to settle the problem through Constitutional Court”, the statement says.
The party leader Seyran Avagyan tried to avoid commenting on the statement at today’s news conference.
He said the main reason of such a humiliating defeat is that the number of votes announced by the commission is 28,000 less than the real number of votes cast for the party candidates.
