Politics

Residents of Armenia’s different provinces were brought to the capital by force to attend the rally staged by current president Robert Kocharyan. Buses carried whole staffs of many enterprises and factories to provide rally with as many participants as possible and make it crowded. Even the rally participants themselves denounced the rally as “mere imitation”.

Hayrusgazard enterprise’s employees confessed they were forced to came here and said: ”It would be better we are paid our salaries instead driving as to rally like a herd of sheep”.

Most brave of Northern University students said they were brought to the rally for show, to convince local and international community that the street is overcrowded and here is no room to swing a cat in. “We were threatened with exams”, students said.

Mila Grigoryan, one of the Northern University’s students, said she is full of determination to cast her vote in favour of Stepan Demirchyan and added that the same decision is made by overwhelming majority of the university students.

Resident of one of Armenian village said despite he and his villagers were driven to the rally by force, they were happy to tour Yerevan for free.

Many of pro-Kocharyan participants of the event failed in answering the question why the buses, which carried people to Demirchyan’s rally, were bared from reaching destination and their drivers arrested while now people were driven to the capital for Kocharyan rally for free.
