RENEWED COMMUNISTS KEEP GLORIFYING CURRENT PRESIDENT
Support A1+!Ahead of the second round of presidential elections, Armenia’s Renewed Communist Party didn’t miss its opportunity to display its loyalty to current president Robert Kocharyan.
In an effort to do a favour to Kocharyan, renewed communists’ turned blind eye even to obvious and already proven facts of election irregularities taken place in the first round of the election.
Yuri Manukyan, the party leader, convened a press conference today in a firm determination to deny any fact of election illegalities and to accuse the opposition as well as people of everything.
Nursing the ambitions of obtaining significant place in political field, the renewed communists now embarked on vigorous campaign of libelling Kocharyan’s rival in the second round of presidential elections.
Yuri Manukyan urged people not to vote in favour of the opposition candidate, then made an incredible statement saying Stepan Demirchyan came second in the first round thanks to fraud while 49,8% scored by Kocharyan is a result of just and transparent election.
