OPPOSITION WON, AUTHORITIES LOST
Support A1+!Today Garnik Margaryan, Co-Chair of “Motherland and Honor” Union met journalists and introduced them his programs. Though it was expected in the pre-propaganda phase of elections that some representatives of Opposition would propose their candidature in favor of the common candidate / or two/, however it didn’t happen.
Garnik Margaryan, candidate for presidency, didn’t propose his candidature, either. He is not going to do it, saying 3-4 years before the elections he had assumed an important mission of joining Opposition, acting jointly .
“Authorities did their best within 6 recent months in order that 16 splits. During the last 1-2 they aimed for 1 candidate to be formed in 16 which would tactically be an excellent version for them to make him a target. But they failed. Opposition remained strong within 16. It is evident there are 2 serious candidates in 16 – Stepan Demirchyan and Artashes Geghamyan. It is one of the most important victories of Opposition. That’s the pledge for Opposition to win in the first phase. Kocharyan won’t pass to the second one. Cases for terror, passport seizing and other facts /Artashat, Shengavit/ prove Authorities to feel agony” , he says.
Garnik Margaryan thinks 16 turned to be rather wise not to be led by Authorities . Opposition didn’t split and proposed 2 candidates. Margaryan says Opposition field is united, serious steps are planned together, there are tactical issues which aren’t made public proceeding from elections results . “The result is obvious – Authorities lost, Opposition won” .
Mr Margaryan also informs electoral committees possess pens, writing and cleaning. All the means will be used / stated by us for many times/ to falsify election results. “We have power to fight with them. The people are the power” .
