VAZGEN MANUKYAN SPEAKS IN PRESS CLUB
Support A1+!President Robert Kocharyan has no chance to remain in office, National Democratic Union leader Vazgen Manukyan said at a meeting held Thursday in National Press Club.
Manukyan highly estimates his own potential to be elected as a president. The Union leader is convinced the government is trying to win the election in one round. If he doesn’t reach the second round, he wouldn’t supports Kocharyan’s candidacy, Manukyan said, at the same time, refraining from pledging support to any other candidate.
As a rule, none enjoying power steps down voluntarily. That’s why the opposition needs a huge promotion to win the election, Manukyan says.
