Armenian president Kocharyan tours the republic provinces not only for his re-election campaign. As recently Kocharyan said during his meeting with Ekhegnadzor’s residents, he has been hunting partridges here for several times.

National Democratic Party’s leader Shavarsh Kocharyan voiced anger at the president’s statement saying the leader of the republic is not aware that partridge-hunting is forbidden in Armenia, because that species is recorded in the Red Book.
