ARAM HARUTYUNYAN SPEAKS ABOUT COMING ELECTIONS

Peter Eicher, head of OSCE Observers’ Mission, met with candidate for Armenian presidency Aram Harutyunyan today. Harutyunyan said press won’t exert the main influence on the coming presidential elections .

The head of “National Agreement” informed Eicher he is the only one of the candidates to have only one pre-election headquarters.

Eicher wondered whether he is satisfied with the way of working of Public TV Company . Harutyunyan answered he is. “Do You trust CEC?” “I agree to the presumption of innocence”, Aram Harutyunyan answered.

Some complaint over election lists reached the ears of OSCE Observers’ Mission head. “The lists won’t have any impact on election process” , “National Agreement” leader announced.

According to him, if anyone tends to lie, no one can stop him. Eicher didn’t wonder who tends to falsify elections in Armenia. He asked instead: “Does it mean that lists are accurate?” . “If anyone aims to falsify lists, no observer can hamper it” , Aram Harutyunyan told him.

Eicher wondered whether there will be any manipulation to pay attention to . Aram Harutyunyan alluded to presumption of innocence.
