Representatives of Observers’ Mission of CIS Executive Committee will meet the members of pre-election headquarters of Vazgen Manukyan, candidate for presidency.

The supporters of Manukyan are going to introduce the observers their dissatisfaction over pre-election period.

National Democratic Union members are displeased with CEC activity and the unequal conditions for candidates - airtime allocation, biased coverage of meetings of candidates at TV news releases, giving of premises for pre-election headquarters and propaganda .

“It would be better if CEC provided all the candidates with premises like building of Science National Academy /one of pre-election headquarters for Robert Kocharyan/” .

Alexandr Butaev, head of pre-election headquarters for Vazgen Manukyan, said NDU candidate has 10 pre-election headquarters in Yerevan . Other provinces of Armenia don’t have pre-election headquarters, either.

Those from NDU are not pleased with election lists, election bribes, surveys. “You don’t play honestly!” - Alexandr Butaev answered this way to a representative of pro-government press who asked him to cite even one name of a sociologist who had conducted an ordered survey.

NDU Office has conducted an Internet survey-voting in its turn - first Robert Kocharyan and Vazgen Manukyan had equal votes but later Manukyan took a lead over Kocharyan .

Vazgen Manukyan’s supporters have found out the reason for false results of other surveys. They explain it with the fear and terror-like atmosphere in the country.

“I don’t want to cite names but there are villages where commune “stars” and oligarchs announced” - “If there is even one vote less for Kocharyan here, you’ll face a deal with us” , Anahit Aghoyan, Executive for propaganda of Manukyan’s pre-election headquarters, says.

Vazgen Manukyan will begin his propaganda in provinces from January 28. He will first visit Syunik Province.
