COMMUNIST PARTY CRITICISES REPUBLIC'S LEADERSHIP

Armenian Communist Party Second Secretary Sanatruk Sahakyan said today at the Azdak Club press conference the party intended to bear responsibility for the nation’s future. In his opinion, the republic authorities have nothing to do in office any more. They are deliberately leading the country to the brink of crisis, laying the ground for bribing people, as social insecurity is a favourable environment for that, Sahakyan says. In his words, the fraud mechanisms become increasingly sophisticated from election to election. He said he cautioned the upcoming presidential elections to be fatale.

“It would be better if the president doesn’t run for the second term ridding people of this problem and letting them to unite around those forces able to halt crisis in the republic”, he said, however, without specifying what forces he meant.

Sanatruk Sahakyan is convinced the Communist Party will serve people just as it has done it for 70 years.
