THREE PERCENTS DID VANISH
Support A1+!Economy and Finance Minister Vardan Khachatryan presented the report on 2002 state budget execution at today’s Cabinet meeting. According to the report 9 million-dram debt has been paid for past 9 months. But compering income and expenditure parts of the budget the surplus of emerged.
“To prevent some politicians from making fuss over these 3% I say beforehand that the amount makes 4 billion drams and is in our common account” Vardan Khachatryan said. He also assured that teachers’ salaries were paid from this sum.
Instead, national gross product growth was underlined at the meeting.
The figures were immediately released in Washington. Such a precipitous surge surprised even Americans. But few believe in it.
