ARAM SARGSYAN DOESN'T CONSIDER KOCHARYAN AS A PRESIDENT
Support A1+!“Robert Kocharyan has never been the president. He is now an acting president and nothing more, because he’s never been elected neither as Nagorno-Karabakhi nor as Armenian president”, Aran Sargsyan, the “Republic” party leader said in an interview with A1+ TV Company.
While Kocharyan is running his presidential election campaign, opposition parties are negotiating possibility of alliance and joint presidential candidate. Aram Sargsyan supports the idea of a joint candidate. He says at the first stage each party should put up its own candidate. Then, one of them is to be selected after discussion.
“The team, not person is important”, Aram Sargsyan says. He thinks there can’t be politician without political party and gives an example of Robert Kocharyan, who hasn’t foothold in political field – any political party behind him and ideological grounds as well.
And what about emerging allegation over the October 27 terrorist action, Vazgen Sargsyan’s brother Aram Sargsyan says the republic leadership is gambling on that tragedy and trying to gain from it.
