GANGSTERISM AND CRIMINAL REGIME IN A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY

Behaviour of the Armenian Authorities is gangsterism.Only so can be regarded what happened at night on May the 15-th. About 70 people were taken to Internal Affairs Departments and were inflicted an administrative penaly upon as the participants of a non-sanctioned procession,- during today's conference announced Artak Zeynalyan, the member of Republic party Political Commitee.

According to Garnik Margaryan, the other representative of the opposition, " the Authorities being a criminal regime is not news, it reminds of 1937 or Fascism. " They can't frighten the people with that, the nation has already choosed - 5 meetings of many thousands are the evidence of it,- said Mr. Margaryan.

What is for the processions and meetings, there is no need to give permission for their execution. The Armenian citizens' right for executiong meetings, processions and so on is fixed in the Armenian Constitution. "What is not forbidden that is allowed" ,- concluded the press conference participants.

But not the participants of all peaceful processions are called to account. E.g. nobody suffers from the processions organized be the parties supporting Authorities and no journalists were arrested after the non-sanctioned processsion on May the 3-rd.

By the way, during the meeting with Ago's group in Armenia the opposition parties representatives told them the facts of the above-mentioned illegal arrests. According to Artak Zeynalyan, the Europeans had been shocked, they couldn't believe that a thing like that might happen.

By the way, the opposition parties had represented Ago's group the real reasons for "A1+" TV Channel banning from air and the representatives of political parties of various veiws announced that "A1+" TV Channel banning from air was a political order without controversy.
