ATTITUDE TO THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR' VETERANS HAS BEEN CHANGED FOR

Lately on May the 9-th 3 holidays are officially celebrated in Armenia - the Day of victory in the Great Patriotic War, Karabagh Army establishment Day and the Day of Shushi liberation. This year on the 57-th anniversary of Great Patriotic War victory and the 10-th one of Shushi liberation the number of people who wanted to mention the memory of the wars victims was unprecedentedly large.

The representatives of Armenia 3 authorities as well as all the Embassies to Armenia, War veterans and other citizens laid wreathes and flowers to the Monument for the Unknown Soldier's memory. Especially old veterans having struggled and won under the motto "Independence is not begged for, it is to be won! " only lately noticed the change of public' attitude to them. As one of them said, " attitude has been changed for 2 2.jpg%The veterans wish is " to have smart ministries, clever deputies, intelligent and competent ministers. I wanted and even longed for our country to be as it used to be while Soviet Union was holding the power ",- said one of the veterans.

Nevertheless, everyone is at one with the standpoint - they think both Armenia and Karabagh Armies are able to provide security and peace for their countries and people.
