RELATIVITY OF PROPORTIONALS AND MAJORITARIANS MAY CHANGE IN PARLIAMENT

About 60 deputies signed for setting relativity of 66-65 in Election Law Code instaed of 94 proportional and 37 majority election districts.

Parliament Vice-Speaker Tigran Torosyan informs that such a proposal hadn't been made officially yet. Mr. Torosyan thinks that the number of majority election districts may increase. Venice Commitee experts as well said that it's early for Armenia to have three times more proportional election districts than majority.

While studying the issue Venice Commitee standpoint as well will be considered so that deputies supporting the majority kind are given one more chance to achieve their goals.
