Politics

Russian Federation Ambassador to Armenia Anatoli Dryukov announces that Krasnodar Province local authorities within the limits of legality fight against illegally residing emigrants. They are evicted. He says that nobody offend the Armenian residing there legally, i.e., registered or invited.

In Krasnodar Province Armenian graves profanation Dryukov regarded as vandalism and thinks that the event is to be examined to punish the real guilty ones. But he doesn't think that State of Emergency arose in Krasnodar Province. He asks why the Armenian are not surprised when illegally residing emigrants are evicted from Germany or Holland.

By the way, the Republican Filaret Berikyan is sure that supporters for Armenian-Russian people centuties-old freindship were to prevent aggravation of the situation in Krasnodar Province. Aghvan Vardanyan, the "Dashnaktsutyun" Party head regarded the Armenian graves profanation as an attempt to create international hostility.

The traditional proRussian powers, e.g., Communism Party hopes the events occured in Krasnodar Province not to cast a shadow on Armenian-Russian friendship. Aghasi Arshakyan, the supporter for Armenia membership to Russia - Byelorussia Alliance thinks that the Russian "put their house in order" and the Armenian must not feel bad because of that.

Anatoli Dryukov and Armenia political powers think that Russian-Armenian Interparliament Commission representatives are to be sent on an official trip to Krasnodar. The state created will be studied as well by Armenia and Russia employees of Internal Affairs Ministry.

But Karen Karapetyan, the Parliament "National Deputy" Group head informed journalists that the Armenian are driven away in carriages to Rostov-on-Don. He thinks that the oppressions to the Armenian in Krasnodar Province may spread over Rostov-on-Don and the state may keep on being tense.
