TODAY IS THE POLICE DAY IN ARMENIA

Today according to the order the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs was at last handed the flag of "Honour and Dignity". Last year 16 the April was officially set the Day of Police and today for the fist time was marked by celebrating with a ceremonial march. Last year only the Parliament approved the Armenian Republic Law on Police.

By the decree of Armenian president as well as the Minister of Internal Affairs the Police system employees having distinguished themselves in work were awarded honorary titles, medals, mementoes.

In many speeches made the long way passed by the Police was valued. As the Armenian president thinks the best evidence of good manner of work is that Armenia is one of those scanty countries where people walk along streets without being afraid of anything.

Nevertheless, as the president noted the system hadn't been improved up to the end yet and it was in the period of so-called "self-clearing".

Besides all the Armenian high rankers Nagorno Karabagh officials and former employees of Internal Affairs system headed by former Minister Evgeni Patalov were among those to recieve ceremonial march. The former Minister characterized only with one sentence Armenia Police manner of work on crime prevention:" If in other countries ones want but are unable in our country ones are able but don't want very often".

After the march and having awarded all the honours the Armenian president left thus avoiding the policy having recently been approved by him that is "to talk to journalists after any kind of measure".
