If this provision of the bill remained intact, the A1+ wouldn’t deprived of its frequency, and vacant frequencies were offered for competitors. Once, Shavarsh Kocharyan, the head of the proper parliamentary commission, was strongly opposed to the idea of providing the acting TV companies with such advantages. It was he who promoted this provision withdrawal from the law.
”And I was right about this issue. No monopoly should be permitted in this area and not a single company should be eternal”, he said.
