THE LAW OF THE ALTERNATIVE SERVICE
Support A1+!Due to the obligations that Armenia has towards EC, in 2003 the project of "The Alternative military service" will be represented to the National Assembly. Now the project is in the first stage of discussion.
The project defines that only the members of legal religious organizations can pass the alternative military service. The time limitation of the alternative military service is 3 years and a half. Paying the budjet the sum equal to 1000 lowest salaries will decrease the limitation to one year. The alternative military server serves in military forces, but he is not obliged to take a gun, to keep or use it.
