Dispute between MP and environmentalist (video)
Parliamentary hearings on issues of Lake Sevan were held in a "lively" atmosphere. There were a dispute between MP Khosrov Harutyunyan and environmentalist Levon Galstyan began. Accusations were heard from both sides. The MP noted that during the hearings he spoke about his concerns. Silva Adamyan, Director of Bird Center NGO, intervened in the dispute. "For so many years, NGOs have been demanding to stop taking water from Lake Sevan, but you, taking into account your concerns, have voted for," he said.
