Political forces discuss waste management issue (video)
Candidates for Yerevan Council of Elders discuss one of the most urgent issues of the capital: waste management. According to "Prosperous Armenia" candidate Arman Abovyan, they have studied international experience and worked out solutions to the problem. My Step bloc candidate Trdat Sargsyan said that before the revolution, there was not trust towards the authorities. "Now, there will be investments," he says. According to Ani Samsonyan, a candidate for the Luys alliance, there should be a new garbage disposal operator. "There will be investments, and the money that will be spent should be controlled." David Hakobyan, a candidate for ARF Dashnaktsutyun, suggests granting communities freedom of garbage disposal. "At present super-political regime is established, it must be changed."
