Andrias Ghukasyan: There cannot be opposition in temporary government (video)
Andrias Ghukasyan said at a press conference that the revolutionary period in Armenia has ended and the constructive period has started and this is the reason why the newly formed "Armenia's Constructive Party" was created several days ago. According to Andrias Ghukasyan, during the snap parliamentary elections, all democratic forces should unite. And who is the opposition now for the "Armenia's Constructive Party"? "The opposition will be the power that will not collect enough votes in the elections and which will not turn into power. Voters decide who is power and who is the opposition. This is the logic of a democratic state. There cannot be opposition in temporary government. The temporary government has a mandate to ensure free, fair, transparent elections. In that sense, we are with the temporary government," said Andrias Ghukasyan. Andrias Ghukasyan also spoke about the rating and proportional systems of the elections. According to him, both systems have shortcomings, but in this case the proportional electoral system is more appropriate than the rating.
