Sasna Tsrer group to stay in prison (video)
On May 11, Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction at Shengavit, the regular hearing of the case was held in tense condition by judge Arshak Vardevanyan. Defenders of Aram Manukyan, Hovhannes Harutyunyan, Tatul Tamrazyan, Aram Hakobyan, Tigran Manukyan, Araik Hakobyan, Vardan Geravetyan, Martiros Hakobyan, Sergey Kyureghyan, Gevorg Iritsian and Toros Torosyan filed a motion to the court to release their defendants for bail. The court rejected the motion. In response, the defenders left the courtroom during the verdict. At present, dissatisfied supporters have blocked Arshakunyats Street as a sign of protest.
