"Human for Human," Today is International Volunteer Day
By the initiative of the Lori regional branch of the Federation of Youth Clubs (FYCA), warm clothing, blankets and canned food were provided to socially vulnerable families living in more than ten houses in Vanadzor. Initiative Coordinator Sokhak Melkonian says that the "Human for Human" initiative has made us to understand how important volunteering is for community development. In Vanadzor, a Volunteer Youth Club Federation volunteer Seda Mkrtchyan presented the organization's mission and implemented programs. Atom Mkhitaryan, President of the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia, highlighted the youth involvement to such programs. Volunteers of the "Human for Human" initiative and Lori governor Arthur Nalbandyan were awarded for their support and voluntary contribution by the Federation of Youth Clubs.
