Political analyst Sergey Minasyan may be appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia. Talking to A1+ Company, the deputy director of the Caucasus Institute neither confirmed nor denied the information. “There is not official order,” he said. It is expected that his appointment will officially be announced at the end of the summer. The current ambassador to Georgia is Olympic weightlifting champion Yuri Vardanyan who was appointed to the post in 2014.
