PM: Those responsible for Jrarat incident will be punished
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has condemned Tuesday's incident in Jrarat village which left three supporters of the Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian alliance injured ahead of the April parliamentary elections. “Elections naturally imply competition but competition should in no way grow into violence. I strongly condemn any act of violence. All those who violated the law in Jrarat, are subject to liability regardless of their political affiliation and position. I know that the law enforcement agencies are already taking operational and investigative measures to give an objective and comprehensive legal assessment to the incident. I am confident that law enforcement authorities will provide additional information on future developments within the limits permitted by law,” Karen Karapetyan said in a Facebook post.
