Levon Yolyan elected Chairman of Control Chamber (video)
Levon Yolyan has been elected as Chairman of the Control Chamber. When presenting the results, Chairman of the Counting Board Sukias Avetisyan said 99 MPs voted for Yolyan. Two ballots were declared invalid. A total of 101 lawmakers participated in the voting. In his speech, Yolyan, the only candidate for the post, thanked the lawmakers, saying, “The kind and warm atmosphere during the debate on my nomination was a very pleasant surprise for me. It is certainly binding. I shall try not to disappoint anyone in my work.”
