Vardenyats mountain pass, Berd-Chambarak section are closed
The RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports that as of December 15, 09:30 it is snowing in the RA all interstate and republican roads. Vardenyats mountain pass, Berd-Chambarak section are closed due to heavy snow, storm and low visibility. Roads of Talin, Artik, Ani, Akhuryan and Ashots, Saravan-Zanger section, Keti, Jajur mountain passes are difficult to pass. Highways of Baghramyan, Abovyan and Sevan, Meghri mountain pass are difficult to pass due to heavy snow and storm. There is black ice on Noyemberyan highways. The roads are being cleaned with salt and sand. The drivers are urged to use the abovementioned highways only in case of strict necessity only with winter tires and tire chains. The Road Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Infrastructures reports that as of December 25, 09:30, Stepantsminda-Lars is closed for all types of vehicles.
