I assure you, it isn’t true: Surik Khachatryan on yesterday’s incident (video)
Former Governor of Syunik marz Surik Khachatryan still doesn’t know whether he will be again nominated for that post or not, “It is still unclear.” Though, he follows the activities of new Governor, everything is normal, “He works in a normal way, he is aware of situation, he keeps in touch with majority of the people.” He doesn’t consider Karen Karapetyan’s becoming a Republican to be surprising, “But why is it unexpected? Karen Karapetyan is our teammate, what’s wrong?” Touching upon yesterday’s incident, where the name of Surik Khachatryan’s son was also circulated, he said, “I assure you that it isn’t true, they have been close friends for already several years.” To remind, yesterday stabbing case occurred in one of the restaurants. Surik Khachatryan’s son was suspected of the stabbing. The wounded young man is Tigran Shahgeldyan, who, according to some information, is the grandchild of Kovalenko Shahgeldyan, former Governor of Kotayk marz. Mr Shahgeldyan also touched upon the incident, “My grandchild is in good condition, he will be taken to home in 15 minutes. Don’t look for sensation!” Watch the video
