Security Dream and Parking City Service, the companies engaged in rendering paid parking services, will be compensated for the loss of their businesses. Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan says the company will not stay without business for the failure in their activities. “The state needs certain services, therefore we buy those services.” It means the state needs money and it wants to receive the money from the profits of the aforesaid companies, i.e. the state buys the businesses of these companies. “It is under the jurisdiction of the state.” Thus, the state can decide one day that it wants to offer a particular service and take somebody’s private business. “The state will never take away anyone’s business,” the minister stressed. The expected profits will not directly go to the budget, they will become extra-budgetary funds. Isn’t the state doing the same thing with Gazprom Company? The minister says the state does not have so much money. By the way, opposition lawmakers say that the state is on the verge of default that is why the authorities have started to seize private businesses. The minister admits that the external debt of 6 billion dollars is really disturbing. “… otherwise we would not submit a consolidated budget for the next year,” he said.
