Shahen Harutyunyan invited to SIS as victim (video)
A surprise was awaiting activist Shahen Harutyunyan at the Special Investigation Service. On arriving at the SIS building, the activist was told that he had been summoned as an aggrieved party/ “I was surprised to hear that based on media reports a criminal case had been filed alleging that I was subjected to violence on July 17 when I was taken to a police station from Liberty Square,” Shahen said to A1+. “I had head injuries. Even police officers were unable to cover up the crime committed by their colleagues and protocoled that I had swelling on my head,” he added. This is not the first time the 17-year-old guy has appeared in such a situation, but he has never been recognized as a victim. Anyway, he does not think that the wrongdoers will be punished. “I did not file a complaint knowing the state of permissiveness and impunity in our country. The initiative belongs to them and I have been summoned as a victim,” Shahen said.
