“No one’s right to pre-election campaign was violated”
Etchmiadzin number 19 TEC Chairman Grigor Nazaryan sincerely wasn’t aware what happened yesterday between two candidates for Mayor of Etchmiadzin and their supporters, “I haven’t managed to look through the news, as we don’t have a chance.” Nevertheless, he talked to the CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan, who told him that there are no bases to cancel Etchmiadzin City Council elections, even when Mayor’s candidate is in hospital. “Today is a day of silence, isn’t it? And no one’s right to pre-election campaign was violated so that we discuss it now,” said Mr Nazaryan. To remind, yesterday night an armed incident happened between candidates for Mayor of Etchmiadzin.
