Karen Grigoryan takes first place, Karen Movsisyan- third
Armenian chess players performed successfully at the international tournament “Sabadel-2016” held in Spain. Our grandmaster Karen Grigoryan defeated Catalonian chess player Dublan Narciso in the 9th round and gained 7 points. The same result was shown by Cuban GM Lazaro Aguero, but with additional coefficients our chess player took the first place. The second representative from Armenia at this competition was GM Karen Movsisyan. In the last round he tied in with Cuban Kevel Oliva, gained 6.5 points and took the third place.
