Armenian GMs fight for first place in Spain
Armenian Grandmasters Karen Movsisyan and Karen Grigoryan continue to fight for the first place at the Ciutat de Sabadell 2016 open tournament in Spain. After the past eight rounds, GM Lazaro Aguero from Cuba tops the standings with 6.5 points. He is followed by Karen Movsisyan and Karen Grigoryan, who have earned 6 points each. In the last round on Sept. 9, Karen Movsisyan and Karen Grigoryan will face Kevel Oliva (Cuba) and Marc Narciso (Catalonia) respectively. If they tie their games, they will retain their current positions, otherwise, they will fight for the first place.
