AMD 50 million to families of deceased servicemen (video)
Each family of 100 servicemen, who were killed during April War, will be provided AMD 500 000. The sum, AMD 50 million, was raised within the frames of the project initiated by the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese. The funds were mainly donated by the members of the diocese. “The project aims at supporting the families of the servicemen, who sacrificed their lives for the homeland,” said Shushan Petrosyan, coordinator of the projects of Ararat Patriarchal Diocese. In reply to the question whether Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, Leader of Ararat Diocese, make any donation from his personal means, Priest of Ararat Diocese Yesayi Artenyan answered, “Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan makes his donations every day on different occasions.
