Government to reduce 797 official vehicles (video)
Today before the Government sitting the Minister-Chief of RA Government Staff Davit Harutyunyan stated that the Government will reduce 797 official vehicles. He added that while carrying out the activities they cooperated with all the ministries except the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and some affiliated departments except the police, the NSS, investigative and rescue services. The Minister also noted that the number of official vehicles financed directly from the budget will be reduced by 107 and 690 vehicles will be reduced in the SNCOs subjected to the relevant bodies, CJSCs and the foundations. The Minister-Chief of RA Government Staff offered the Minister of Finance to instruct the relevant officials to present at next Government sitting the draft decision, which will depict the reduction in number of the official vehicles financed from the budget, “Prime Minister’s control service must carry out research in connection with the purposefulness of the use of official vehicles. Information must be available on the official websites of all the mentioned bodies on the use, model, production number, engine capacity, license plate of the vehicles.” Prime Minister in his turn instructed the Ministry of Economy to create a document so that the importers can learn which kind of documents are necessary for importation so that there be no additional obstacles in other bodies. The SRC was instructed to create equal tax and customs conditions for all the importers.
