Minister plans to introduce changes in high schools
Armenia’s Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan today told media representatives that they had applied to the Ministry of Justice requesting the latter to review high school attendance policies, making excused absences from 80 hours to 200 hours. “We are also trying to restore the tradition of writing obligatory compositions, reproductions and essays, as well as the format of oral examinations at school,” the minister said.
