Armenian wrestler Roman Amoyan lost to his Turkish rival
Armenian Greco-Roman style wrestler Roman Amoyan will not participate in Rio 2016 Olympics. On May 6, Aroyan (59 kg) lost to Rahman Bilici of Turkey in a qualifying tournament in Istanbul. Only the athletes entering the final stage will be able to participate in Rio 2016. The other three Armenian wrestlers participating in the qualifying tournaments – David Safaryan (65 kg), Grigor Grigoryan (74 kg) and Musa Murtazaliev (86 kg), will compete on May 8
