Three Armenian servicemen wounded in Karabakh this night (video)
Three Armenian servicemen were wounded in Nagorno-Karabakh overnight as Azerbaijan continued shelling Armenian positions and settlements, Kamavor Khachatryan, Head of the Medical Department of Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Ministry, told media on April 27. “The condition of one serviceman is grave though stable, but his life is not endangered. He received shrapnel wounds to his hip,” Mr Khachatryan said adding that 34 Armenian servicemen have been wounded on the frontline after the four-day heavy fighting in the Karabakh conflict zone that claimed scores of military as well as civilian lives on both sides. Eighty-seven of the 125 people wounded in the hostilities between April 1 and 4 have been discharged from hospital. Three soldiers are still in a critical condition. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to save five servicemen. Kamavor Khachatryan could not say how many of them have acquired a disability because of the deadly skirmishes on the Karabakh frontline.
