Instant photos near Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex
A1+’s journalist came across an elderly man near Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex who was taking instant photos. The photographer, who refused to identify himself, was taking photos of visitors and giving them their photos in a matter of seconds. He charged AMD 1000 for each photo. Talking to A1+ the man said many expressed desire to have a photo against the background of the memorial. In reply to our question whether locals or Diaspora Armenians expressed desire to have such photos, the man said, “Diaspora Armenians are not as interested as locals.”
