Turkish delegate does not exclude the presence of mercenaries in four-day war in Karabakh
Ertuğrul Kürkçü, a member of the Turkish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), does not rule out the participation of his countrymen in the four-day skirmishes at the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops. “But I do not have concrete evidence,” he said to A1+’s journalist in Strasbourg. Ertuğrul Kürkçü does not exclude it theoretically considering his government’s actions in the Syrian war. The opposition MP says although Erdoğan's government was not officially involved in the Syrian war, everyone knows that he [Recep Tayyip Erdoğan] helps jihadist groups in Syria. “Neither me, nor the party I am affiliated with [Peoples' Democratic Party] have done any research, and I cannot substantiate it with facts, but theoretically it is not excluded,” said the Turkish politician.
